Nu-Teck offers stock item-plate wheels specifically for torque limiter application. Select your plate wheel from the stock sizes listed below. For a more precise torque setting and for applications where slippages may be frequent, it is recommended that a Nu-Teck plate sprocket be used. Rated torque capacity can only be obtained with dry friction facings and with a Nu-Teck plate sprocket.

For optimum Torque Limiter performance, the plate sprocket must be flat, parallel, square with bore and free from rust, scale and oil. If plate sprocket is not in accordance with these specifications, Torque Limiter capacity will be erratic and generally lower.
